Places for People is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center that is situated in lovely Saint Louis, Missouri at 3738 Chouteau Avenue Suite 200. Addiction to drugs, alcohol, or any other substance of abuse, can take a toll on the well-being and livelihood of the addict. It's important that these individuals seek professional treatment, guidance, and care in order to safely and successfully beat the addiction. Whether the patient requires inpatient treatment or outpatient treatment, Places for People can provide patients with everything they need to beat addiction.
It's very typical for an addict to believe that they can overcome addiction on their own. Although this idea may seem tangible, going cold turkey is unsafe and more than likely will result in a relapse in the very near future. It's imperative that addicts seek the help of Places for People as patients will receive quality addiction care and treatment methods at Places for People. If addicts do not seek help for drug and alcohol addiction, their future will be unclear. This is because addiction is a degenerative and progressive disease that requires intense, professional treatment in order to conquer.
Places for People can provide patients aged 18+ with unique treatment methods along with compassionate care and guidance. The counselors that work with the patient will be by their side every step of the way, helping to ensure their success in recovery. Every addict is able to overcome their addiction if they want it badly enough, but it does take the professional help of Places for People in order to get to the level of sustained sobriety.
Through deciphering the core reasons why the patient uses drugs and alcohol as an escape will help counselors to better create a treatment program that works for them. A tailor-made approach to recovery is what patients will receive when they enter Places for People and this is believed to be the best way to treat addiction.
If patients are truly ready to overcome their addiction and begin a new happy and content life than they will succeed in recovery. They must be in that mindset, though, in order to achieve lasting sobriety. I love the closeness I shared with the members on Thanksgiving. Special thanks to Miss Leon and everyone else who helped out for the event.
I LOVE THIS PLACE
They provide a daily meal and a safe place out of the weather for 8 hours. I got a job and needed a bus ticket to get there and they couldn't help though.
I love this place a whole lot! It is a safe space for all lgbtqia++ for all ages! They have an awesome library, computer lab, comfy couches, Netflix, spotify. They host events regularly amd have free potluck once a month. Extremely valuable resource for the local queer community.
Great place for the LGBT community

Our church choir dang for one of their charity events
My wife attended this school with an idea of becoming a heath services professional. First, the admission staff was very accommodating in making the right selection for classes. She attended the EKG Technician course and had Keisha as the instructor who was excellent. Because of the training in the course my wife passed the national accreditation exam. All in all, we highly recommend the St. Louis School of Phlebotomy as it has everything necessary to get you ready for a health career.
This is a lovely environment in which to do good work. Excellent for meetings and seminars.
Places for people has been the best thing to ever happen for me in my life. I was near death. Places for people came in at the right time . They have awesome teams that help people wanting to help themselves be a better person than they were yesterday . They are encouraging , helpful, show empathy , compassion and tough love . I am still struggling with my issue s, but through the team that I work with I have learned how to cope and deal with it . I went from hopeless to hopeful . The other clients I met always had an encouraging smile and a nice word for me , and i am not a very social person so that was a big stepping stone for me to even be sociable with groups of people . I have housing now because of them . I was homeless and on the streets. So I have come a long way. You have to WANT to get better. When your team sees that, they help you with all the resources they have available for you. And for that I am forever grateful .
They have a lot of resources; gym, clubhouse, bus pass program, psychiatrists, nurses on staff, monthly outings, some great staff and some crappy ones. I speak highly of Mike Anderson because it is evident he lives what he does and is a true humanitarian. He helped me leave an abusive relationship and to qualify for housing voucher. Overall it's a great place. ♡♡♡
Thanks places for people for helping me be independent with myself #BESOCIAL
PrideCenter does a lot to bring the community together. They have an LGBTQ+ community library, a computer lab/cybercenter, and a meeting room with couches and a TV. It's a good place just to feel comfortable and to hang out with people, and there are always fun events happening too.
Amazing Location ! One stoplight away from The Grove (St. Louis premier LGBTQIA area). Alot of community based programming happens here in addition to what Pride St. Louis offers as well!
I'm straight and married but support my family, friends, and strangers who are in the community! One Love, one heart, let's get together and feel alright!!! I always feel welcome and loved at this event. #NoMoreHate 🌈
